Aava ja Pikkujätti Oy is a Finnish, family-owned company wholly owned by the Aho family, with human responsibility at the core of its values and strategy. Aava has been caring for adults for over 60 years, while Pikkujätti is Finland’s only medical clinic dedicated exclusively to children. We previously operated as sister companies until we were brought together under the same corporate structure in the summer of 2025.

Aava employs specialists in more than 40 medical fields. We have particularly strong expertise in gynaecology, gastroenterology, sleep medicine, ophthalmology, and musculoskeletal disorders.
Pikkujätti – healthcare just for children
While Aava focuses on adults, Pikkujätti is dedicated to children. Pikkujätti is a unique case, as it is Finland’s only medical clinic exclusively focused on children. There are already 10 Pikkujätti clinics in different locations across the country.
